‘Sleep With Your Bra On, Do Not Lock Your Door’: Jason Azzopardi Mocks String Of Worrying Wrongful Police Raids With Satirical Notice
Lawyer and former PN MP Jason Azzopardi has continued piling pressure on the Malta Police Force after worrying news emerged of two consecutive wrongful raids on totally innocent people… this time with a satirical “important notice”.
With the “notice” telling people to “not lock your door when asleep so not to disrupt police business” and to “sleep with your bra on”, the post has already garnered over 100 likes and a dozen shares in the first hour of it being uploaded, with many calling the situation equal parts hilarious and shocking.

Azzopardi’s satirical upload comes in light of two shocking stories which have emerged detailing wrongful raids on Marsa residents back in August. The first case was that of a 35-year-old detention officer whose home was breached and was bound to a chair while she was still topless, as police searched the wrong apartment due to suspicions of it housing illegal migrants. A few days later, it seems to have happened again… this time to a 95-year-old woman whose house was broken into while she wasn’t home, with the police not saying anything until her son went to report a robbery.
“Don’t laugh at the situation within the Police Corps,” Azzopardi followed his post up less than hour later. “Cry.”
“Right now, there are police cars, complete with stickers and everything, and inside, there would be two people dressed up as police officers, but they’re actually civilians who are working with the corps!” he continued. “You should be ashamed.”
The Malta Police Force has yet to comment on this most recent allegation.
