We Asked Malta’s Youth What They Want From Their Future Job And They Gave Us The Best Answers
Lovin Malta was present at EY’s first Generate earlier this week, an event aimed at Malta’s youths. While there, we discussed and explored possibilities their future career paths… and we got some pretty interesting answers.
As part of our activation, our very own Sandie and Rachel asked those attending a simple question;
What do you want from your future job?
We got around 100 answers, and they are better than we could have ever hoped for. The answers can be separated into 3 categories:
- Genuine, wholesome answers
- ‘We want money’
- Art
Let’s delve deeper into these answers, shall we?
1. The Genuine Ones
Some people answered the question pretty directly. by telling us what they actually wanted their future job to be.
We definitely don’t need to worry about running out of computer programmers any time soon. But it seems what most youths want from their future job is to just be happy and comfortable. And we can roll with that.
2. The Money Ones
Coming in with a whopping 45 answers out of the total 99, many youths want to be sure that they’re going to be financially secure on whatever job they take on. This actually makes sense considering they feel that financial security is more important than freedom and justice.
3. The Art Ones
These are the true winners. The future truly is in good, memeable hands. We can’t feature all of them, but please, savour the few that we are sharing with you.
