Scroll to the end of this article for the survey.

Although Malta is not necessarily super well-known for its drug use, there is a lot of it. In 2015 we had the seventh highest use of cocaine per capita, and according to recent police reports – drug use has massively escalated in our community.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has said he thinks there’s a “disconnect” between the drug decriminalisation law and how the police are currently handling cannabis. And generally, pressure for its decriminalisation from the Maltese public is becoming stronger and stronger.

We’re talking about drugs in our daily worlds. The drugs people take with their friends, at parties, weddings, festi – all over Malta.
