We’ve Found The Most Patriotic Fruit In Malta
Have you ever found yourself wondering about something that’s so utterly random, you think to yourself, “How the hell did I get here?” Well, if you have, you’re in the right place.
What might’ve started as an average day for one Maltese man ended up with him accidentally discovering the most patriotic fruit around. And it just so happened to be a kaki fruit. So now, finally, we know.
Bearing the timeless eight-pointed cross that’s become so synonymous with Maltese history and culture, the persimmon was introduced to the world by Nikolai Cutajar.
And the name he gave it?
Frotta Patrijotta.
We don’t know about you, but we’re hard-pressed trying to find a fruit that’s as patriotic as a fruit that has an actual eight-pointed-cross in its very core. That’s pretty much on par with a chest tattoo.
