It-Tliet Irħula: Seven Top Wining And Dining Venues In The Garden Core Of Malta
It-Tliet Irħula or The Three Villages comprise of Balzan, Attard and Lija, three placid villages that almost overlap each other. Although not even here could they stave off the march of progress, with the Central-Link project increasing the flow of traffic through Attard, this remains a pleasant area.
During the time of The Order of St. John, the three villages were sought after for country residences and hunting lodges, where many built large palaces, most of which contained spacious gardens. These gardens help keep the air fresh in this land-locked area.
The labyrinthine streets and striking architecture make this a great area to to explore on foot and there are some excellent haunts where you can refresh yourselves.
