Octopus Burger Anyone? Beloved Seafood Takeaway Joint Expands To Birkirkara Centre
A Maltese seafood takeaway that has been making a name for itself for its fish platters, homemade pasta dishes and eye-catching gourmet burgers has just opened its second outlet.
Sea Salt’s new joint is located towards the end of Naxxar Road in the heart of Birkirkara, aimed to attract passers-by looking for a bite on the go as well as people looking for deliveries in the centre of Malta.
From fish and chips and oysters to fresh lampuki and tuna, homemade spaghetti Vongole and variously-sized platters, Sea Salt’s original Sliema outlet was basically a haven for fish lovers and earned rave reviews on TripAdvisor and other online forums.
Despite its focus on traditional seafood, it isn’t afraid to experiment with its menu either, selling burgers stuffed with crispy octopus and seafood or Surf n’ Turf styled ones complete with Angus and beef brisket, calamari rings and prawns.
Now moving inland, the takeaway seafood joint is going from strength to strength.
