6 School-Leaving Job Search Struggles In Malta And How To Solve Them
Finding a job is not always easy – it’s exhausting, frustrating and more than a little tedious. Particularly if you’re freshly out of the scholastic machine and aren’t used to the working world.
Luckily for you, we’re here to help.
1. Writing your first CV may feel scary
First of all: Put. Europass. Away. It was cute for that summer job, but if this is your first big-time job application, you’re going to have type out your CV from scratch.

Use a clear typeface and split your CV into headers, from most relevant to least relevant. Don’t forget to gather every single certificate you ever got, oh and throw in some soft skills there too.
No pressure.
2. Experience levels will mess with your head
Almost every single job opening you come across requires previous experience in some way or another. Not only can this be disheartening but it also makes you feel like it’s impossible for you to get a proper job.

Not only will you be getting a low wage, you’ll probably end up with little to no benefits to back you up on your first job. Sure, it might not seem really important at first, but experiencing the amazing world of health insurance and a cushy pension plan really makes you feel more secure about your future.
