8 Things We Experienced At Malta’s Launch Party For The New Range Rover Velar
Muscats Motors’ brand new Range Rover Velar was unveiled at a sexy and stylish launch party last night at Giardini Lambrosa, where some familiar faces came together in celebration. Here are eight things we experienced at the extravagant event.
1. There was a unique ‘Range Rover headlight’ entrance
An orange Range Rover Evoque convertible and sleek silver Range Rover Sport acted as entrance pillars to an extravagant event; their angled fog lights doubling as a red carpet spotlight for some very special guests.
2. And a free flowing Tanqueray specialty cocktail bar
Muscat Motors’ went all out with the post unveiling party – revealing a hidden outdoor Tanqueray specialty cocktail bar with two top-tier mixologists. Guests partied alongside a second, midnight black model of the new Range Rover Velar in the outdoor gin bar lounge.
And just when we got a little peckish, they brought out some tasty hors d’oeurvers, all served on a silver platter.
3. The dazzling watches on display kept catching our eye
Two beautiful pieces of Zenith wrist bling sat perched in a case beside the silk-veiled centre of attention. The two Swiss watches, both stylishly adorned with Zenith and Range Rover logos, kept guests shifting their gazes from the shrouded Range Rover in the centre, to their smaller wearable counterparts off to the side.
4. The breathtaking vehicle was unveiled in a dramatic fashion
Impeccably dressed guests gathered around the night’s silk sheathed focal point- Muscats Motors new Range Rover Velar. A dramatic introductory video played as the opening remarks were delivered, providing an in depth description of Range Rover’s newest chariot of comfort.
5. The exterior is design ingenuity at its finest
The Range Rover Velar’s scrupulously designed exterior is the most air-focused model yet, and it’s safe to say the car wears that badge well. Who knew aerodynamics could be so sexy?
The sleek volumes of the lower body, with its flawlessly integrated deployable flush door
handles, show an almost obsession with attention to detail. At the rear, the vehicle’s design is distinguished by quad tail light
signature elements within a full-width graphic incorporating the iconic Range Rover script,
seamlessly harmonising the vehicle’s lines to stunning effect.

The Velar’s interior is more of a lounge than a passenger area. The all-leather, impeccably designed seats crafted entirely for comfort will put even the moodiest passenger into a meditative trance.
It also featured two seamlessly integrated 10” touchscreens, used to control the latest advanced technology tucked away in the vehicle’s interior. Twin sliding armrests, which operate independently, help maximise also helped maximise individual comfort.
7. The engine was impressively fierce yet smooth
The engine is fuel efficient and a pleasure to drive. Equipped with Stop/Start technology and smart regenerative charging, the engine harvests kinetic energy from braking to charge the battery for maximum economy, especially when driving through Malta’s roads.
8. Above all it’s a luxury vehicle spilling over with special features
The car can be customised to have anything from an incredible 3D sound system, to in-built door-to-door navigation with real-time traffic updates. The car is tailored to ensure the driver has the best possible experience from the second they step in.
