Believe it or not, we’re already officially halfway through the year. And as scary as that is, it also means that we’re headed towards long days and nights spent partying into the early hours of the morning.
Local party organisers Justtruth are bringing you your new go-to weeknight event, in the magical setting of Birkirkara’s L-Istazzjon Garden
Every Thursday night for 10 weeks this summer, the Old Railway Garden in Birkirkara will be transformed into Mu?ika, a mini music festival featuring local and foreign acts, and loads of good food and drinks.
From Red Electrick to Airport Impressions to international tribute bands of some of the greats like Bon Jovi and Guns ‘n Roses, the garden will fill with music every Thursday night
And entrance is totally free! Here’s a bit of a sneak peek at this summer’s Mu?ika line-up;
- 6th June Opening – RUG Gianni
- 13th June – Ozzy Lino & The Band
- 20th June – QUEEN Tribute band (International)
- 27th June – Kurt Calleja & Band
- 4th July – Red Electrick Full Concert Band
- 11th July – Airport Impressions
- 18th July – WASTED JOVI – Bon Jovi Tribute band (International)
There’ll be great food like barbecue meat, pasta, fried fish, and loads of tasty sweets. And you can treat yourself to drink form one of their specialised bars; including a Jack Daniels bar, a wine bar, a beer bar and cocktail bar. The garden’s resident eatery NomNom will be open, featuring their iconic Build Your Own Burger station, where you get to… well, build your own burger.
And if you want to bring your kids along with you there’s also a fun play area that they can enjoy.
So you’ll be able to get your drink on and your dance every Thursday night while surrounded by the serene setting of the Old Railway Garden. And don’t even get us started on the Instagram potential. Just imagine all the ‘cocktail against a backdrop of lights and trees’ shots you could get.
