Calling All Young Dancers: ŻfinMalta Launches Immersive Contemporary Dance Summer Intensive

Think you’ve got what it takes to move with Malta’s national dance company? ŻfinMalta, in collaboration with DanceHive, is inviting aspiring dancers to take part in a five-day Summer Intensive designed to push artistic boundaries and explore contemporary dance like never before.

The ŻfinMalta x DanceHive Summer Intensive is open to two age groups:

Led by ŻfinMalta’s company dancers, the programme includes high-energy warmups and hands-on sessions diving into the company’s repertoire — featuring works by internationally renowned choreographers like Liliana Barros, Sita Ostheimer, Emanuel Gat, Matthew William Robinson and more.

One lucky Maltese dancer has a chance to win a scholarship covering full tuition fees for the  16+ intensive. To apply for the scholarship, participants must upload a motivation letter as part of their application form.

Spaces are limited to just 30 dancers per intensive. International participants are welcome but those attending the 10-15 year old intensive must be accompanied by a guardian.
