Celebrating 45 Years Of Dance: With ‘One Night Only’
For 45 years, Alison White has been a driving force in dance, starting in 1979 with three students in her Birkirkara home and building a legacy through the Alison White Dance Studio (AWDS).
This December, AWDS celebrates its milestone anniversary with ‘One Night Only’, a showcase of dance and artistry.
Alison’s pioneering work in Modern Dance has trained countless students who have excelled in the performing arts. She’s choreographed for global brands like UNESCO and Ford, as well as local productions such as Gensna and CHOGM 2015. Her leadership extends to shaping Malta’s dance governance through roles at the Dance Council, ZfinMalta and NAPA.
Beyond the stage, Alison empowers children with special needs through therapeutic dance programmes, fostering confidence and creativity at the Guardian Angel Resource Centre and Opening Doors Association. Her studio embodies inclusivity, proving that dance is a universal language for healing and connection.
‘One Night Only’ will feature contemporary, classical and jazz performances by alumni, students and colleagues, celebrating Alison’s enduring impact on dance and community.
Join the celebration on December 14th at the Mediterranean Conference Centre and witness 45 years of artistry, passion and innovation.
