When we last closed off on Money Heist, the half-way crew were on the run from the feds and heading towards a world with no borders. Netflix’s hit Spanish production is centred around a group of 8 accomplices, who are roped into helping a criminal mastermind print off a fat load of cash from the Royal Mint.
Part 3 is out this Thursday and we cannot wait to see if the gang managed to get away.
While we wait for the third installment, we’ve been given an inside look into the jumpsuits worn by the characters. They’ve been designed in a collaboration by DIESEL and the show itself.
DIESEL’s design team created the set of iconic jumpsuits that will be worn in the soon-to-be-released season. The gang’s ensembles have become pop culture icons since the show hit streaming platforms.
DIESEL will be running a limited line of reversible jackets, a hallmark of DIESEL’s collection from the start, that have been updated with a utilitarian design inspired by the show and old DIESEL company archives. The whole capsule is characterised by bold graphics that detail the characters’ names and the masks they wear, in a bold palette of black, white and red. The collection is to be released in select DIESEL stores across the globe, as well as online.
Will the collection hit Malta?
In short: yes. But just in case you can’t understand our excitement well enough: this never happens in Malta.
This really never happens to us, but we’ve finally been noticed for something! Malta’s DIESEL outlets located in Merchant Street, Valletta and St Anne’s Square, Sliema, will be selling the limited edition items so if you want to rock the streets in some fine-ass sheets you’d be crazy to miss the opportunity.
When the show returns on July 19th, fans of the show and DIESEL will be given a chance to become “part of the band.” A limited number of jumpsuits that were actually worn by the cast on set will also be up for grabs. Head to this page on their site and follow the instructions from there. You’ll shortly find yourself off the grid and ready to await your next command.
