Elmo Insurance Brings 40+ Years Of Experience To Swieqi With New Branch
Elmo Insurance has just planted new roots in Swieqi, opening a fresh branch that puts customers right at the centre of the action.
Heading up the new office is Beppe Antignolo, a familiar face with over 20 years of experience at Elmo. Beppe has seen the industry evolve first-hand, from his time in commercial and motor underwriting to running the Rabat branch for the past decade and now, he’s bringing that wealth of knowledge and people-first approach straight to Swieqi.
The official inauguration took place on Wednesday 20th August 2025, with community leaders including Mayor Noel Muscat, Parish Priest Fr Brian Gialanze and Swieqi Deputy Mayor Jordan Galea Pace joining Elmo’s management team for the ribbon-cutting.
“This move shows our commitment to being close to the communities we serve,” said Anthony Cauchi, COO and Executive Director of Elmo Insurance. “Swieqi is a vibrant area and with Beppe leading the branch, we know residents and businesses will benefit from the trusted, personalised service Elmo is known for.”
Mayor Muscat welcomed the move, describing Elmo’s arrival as a “boost for the locality”, noting the company’s 40+ years of service in Malta.

For Managing Director David Bartoli, the branch opening is part of Elmo’s bigger picture. “We’ve wanted to be in this area for some time and we hope to serve Swieqi for many years to come,” he said.
