Fat Joe, MMA Fighters And Crypto Influencers: Malta Week Is Back And It’s Bolder Than Ever

Malta’s largest gaming and technology summit – the SiGMA Group’s Malta Week – is returning next month with a jam-packed schedule of events from 14th to 18th November.

The SiGMA Group expects to welcome some 25,000 delegates to the MFCC in Ta’ Qali and The Hilton hotel in St Julian’s, where four of its biggest brands – SiGMA, AIBC, AGS and Med-Tech World – will come together for one massive festival.

Here are some of the highlights to expect from the summit.

A completely sold-out expo

With over 1000 exhibitors and sponsors, the Ta’ Qali expo floor and The Hilton have been completely sold out to brands seeking to promote themselves.

Delegates will get to explore top products and demos featuring the latest in gaming, emerging tech, digital health, and affiliate marketing industries.

There will also be gaming areas, competitions, creative booths and other interactive activities, giving attendees a great B2B networking experience.

An expert-led conference agenda

It has become custom for leading government and industry officials to address SiGMA summits and mingle with guests and this year’s edition is no different.

Delegates can expect to mingle with top influencers and thinkers, including the likes of Scott Stornetta, Carl the Moon, Ivanontech, James Crypto Guru, Davinci, AMCrypto, Kyle Chasse, BTCTV, Nick Spanos, and Crypto Megan.

Maltese government officials, including Prime Minister Robert Abela and Economy Minister Silvio Schembri, will also be present.

Premier networking events and entertainment

What’s a five-day summit without some fun on the side?

From golf, padel, football and poker tournaments to drinks and bespoke dinners at top locations around the island, Malta Week has gone all out to promote a relaxed networking atmosphere.

MMA fans will get to enjoy a Fight Night, hosted by SiGMA in partnership with Centurion FC, which will bring celebrity MMA fighters into the ring for a major mixed martial arts event.

There will also be no fewer than six different awards nights celebrating the leaders shaping the future of the gaming, digital marketing, emerging tech and digital health industries.

As part of SiGMA Group’s charitable endeavours, the SiGMA Foundation will host several fund-raising auctions during gala evenings.

However, the best is being saved for last, with award-winning US rapper Fat Joe set to headline multiple performances at the traditional Malta Week closing night events.

Quest for the next startup unicorn

Start-ups will get a chance to strut their stuff, both on the expo floor and through a Startup Pitch competition, where aspiring entrepreneurs will get to pitch their business idea to over 30 venture capitalists, putting them in the running to potentially receive valuable equity investment.

The 300+ Spartans return

After successful round trips to Hong Kong, Manila, New Jersey, Tallinn, Kyiv & Bucharest, AGS – a SiGMA brand – is flying over more than 300 Spartans to Malta for an all-inclusive trip for four nights.

Unfortunately, King Leonidas and his army won’t be present, substituted instead by 300+ quality affiliates from the gaming and emerging tech sector.

From renowned business leaders to aspiring start-ups, Malta Week provides the perfect opportunity for emerging global industries to come together, learn what else is out there and pool their ideas.

Above all though, it will be a fun-packed week that will live long in the memory of attendees – a unique opportunity for operators and affiliates to build a ‘friends before business’ relationship.
