Founded in 2011, the company has grown exponentially becoming a leading affiliate within the iGaming Market. Game Lounge is proud of its fast-moving achievements and are devoted to placing their Game Loungers at the forefront of its success. 

Milestones, memories, and stories were celebrated with close to 200 colleagues over the three day reunion allowing an opportunity for all, from first hires to new joiners, to embrace and unite with the culture that has allowed Game Lounge to bloom to what it is today.  

Both founders, Jonas Cederholm and Fredrik Langeland, share an ethos which they have sewn from day one as a seedling throughout the cultural roots of the company; the #gameloungelife as the Game Loungers refer to it as, drives the people-aspect keeping the three core values at the centre; to be Agile, to be Bold, and to be Community-driven. Working in parallel with the HR team, the Vibe team strives to further strengthen the Community Culture, which to this day, remains a praising point throughout the company, regardless of location, hierarchy, and seniority. 

In today’s world, hybrid-flexible and remote working has become more of a standard than a luxury. A yearly company-wide meet up is now more important and relevant than ever, to sustain the Community Culture which the company is so humbly proud of.

Boasting a low employee turnover of 3.8%, one of the essential elements of the company is to provide Game Loungers with opportunities to grow, develop and enjoy their work. In fact, 22% of Game Loungers progressed to the next stage in their career in 2022. The company adopts a trust culture where employees are given the space to focus and develop their own specific skills.

Game Lounge continues to respect and adapt to this change using the space and vibe in the local offices as the drawing factor for working together and collaborating, in person; giving colleagues a choice over mandating office presence.

From the welcome Swag Pack complete with company merch, to a complete home-office set-up and a revamped work-space in the local office in St. Julian’s, efforts have reflected the importance placed on the vibe allowing colleagues, to take a step-back and understand how priorities can differ from company to company and ultimately, what works for both the people and corporate.

The prided Social House was created and sought to introduce a community space for all Game Loungers to gather as one would amongst friends and family.

From our House Mother, Liora, and her home-made lunches throughout the week, to Friday’s Pizzas and the monthly Cultural Cooking sessions, the diversity amongst colleagues is shared in abundance.

The balance is taken a step further from the physical world, into the mental. Wellness Week is celebrated on an annual basis with Siffi, a recently introduced mental-health and coaching platform benefit, to holistically sustain the daily attention needs year-round. This benefit has just been introduced at the conference during the gathering in Greece.

As the community grows, Game Lounge remains committed to creating an environment where individuals can flourish and become part of something bigger than themselves, forming a refined ecosystem and collective vision.
