This month, alongside the wild orchids and the bright yellow flowers of the towering fennel plant, look out for a crop of black gowns with hoods edged in red satin with a trim of light blue, and black mortar-boards spinning in the air against a bright blue sky.

They’re worn by proud students with crisp white collars, wide white-toothed grins and whoops of joy as they pose for the camera to mark an important milestone on their life journey.

Graduating is a big deal! After all those hours on assignments and projects, red-eye overnighters at the laptop, practical courses, presentations and proficiency tests, for Domain Academy students whose courses come to an end this spring, the hard work is finally finished. All that’s left for them is to dress up to the nines, head to the graduation ceremony and collect a certificate.

For over twenty years Domain Academy, a Higher Education Institution in Mosta, has been successfully supporting students through accredited Diplomas and Degree programmes, both on a full- and part-time bases, with a personalised and student-centred approach across disciplines ranging from International Hospitality and Health Sciences to Business Management/MBA and Computer Science.

Domain Academy offers degrees in partnership with the UK universities, such as the University of Derby and the University of Hertfordshire, and Pearson Education and Qualify, last week, they celebrated the latest class of graduates in style.

Known for the outstanding success rates, this year they’re delighted that 195 students, both from Malta and twelve other countries (including Asia and South America) graduated on Friday 21st April.

It’s was truly a significant day for the Academy, the students and their families, as they hosted such a special event.

Graduates are more likely to succeed in their careers and stepping onto a platform to receive a certificate is just the start of an exciting future. This year’s students join more than 4000 Domain Academy alumni who continue to receive its support and encouragement beyond graduation.

And whether or not the sky is a blistering blue for the photos, we’re certain there’s a bright future ahead for each and every one of these graduates in their chosen fields.
