Environmentalism is currently taking the country by storm – and with reason.  With awareness and activism being at an all-time-high, we’re all looking for ways we can help mother nature. TD Plus is here to save you some cash and make your daily commute more eco-friendly and convenient

TD Plus is a new service from Tallinja that allows you to pre-book your seat on one of their minivans and follows the fastest route possible to cater for all passengers. By booking through the TD Plus portal on the Tallinja app, passengers can specify ideal pick-up points, drop-off points and times, and the app will let you know which bus stop you’ll be picked up from.

You can book a seat for one person or for larger groups, and you’ll be guaranteed a place to sit down on the TD Plus minivan

The service’s multi-passenger booking option also makes it easier to get seated next to your travel buddy. All TD Plus vehicles are also wheelchair and pushchair accessible, and there’s space at the front of the vehicle to accommodate them.

Find solace from the summer heat in the minivans’ fully air-conditioned interior – there’s no way you’re breaking a sweat during this commute.

They’re also all equipped with USB charging points, seat belts and a great WiFi connection

To reserve your seat on a TD Plus minivan, all you’ve got to do is to log in to the Tallinja app and click on the TD Plus button. Tickets are currently €2 per ride and you can pay via the app, either by using the credit on your Tallinja card or with your usual credit card.

Once on the app, simply enter your preferred pick up and drop off points, how many seats you want to reserve, and your ideal time. The app will then let you know which bus stops you will be picked up and dropped off at, and will also send you a notification as your TD Plus minivan is approaching the bus stop.

TD Plus is currently operating between Pembroke and Valletta

And servicing all major areas between those two points. At the end of the trial run, further locations and stops will be added all over the island as the TD Plus fleet expands.
