Maltese film production company Nexus Production Group are thrilled to share its latest offering filled with enchanting meows from Malta’s sunlit streets. The documentary is titled Cats of Malta and it will be released this week in Europe only via online streaming. The release begins in Malta and Spanish Latin American-speaking countries on 21st September and then continues to the UK and Ireland from 25th September.
Directed by Sarah Jayne Portelli, best recognised for her directional work on the educational film Daughter, starring Katherine Langford and beautifully shot by Ivan Malekin, whose accolades include being listed among the ‘Top 50 Australian Independent Film Heroes’ Cats of Malta is garnering positive reviews from critics in the EU and US.

Featuring the heartbeats of Malta like Roza Zammit Salinos, Isaac Muscat, and Karmen Colerio, each playing their own authentic roles, the film takes one through a mesmerising journey.
