Maltese Catering Company Raises The Bar For Wedding Food
Last weekend team Lovin Malta hit up Villa Bighi for a beautiful wedding ceremony, and we’re still dreaming about that cake. The whole event was catered by the lovely people at Mannarinu Caterers and honestly the food was too die for.
1. Their food is delicious
We must have eaten about five kilo’s of assorted nibbles
2. And it also looks incredible
And yes that is edible gold dust on a mushroom vol-au-vent.
3. The servers were great people
Courteous, smiling, and able to deal with nosy journalists taking photos of the food every few minutes
4. The business itself is family run
The company started as an ice-cream parlour back in the 50s, and two generations later they’re still in the business of making people happy. One of the bosses was even at the wedding himself making sure everything ran smoothly

Nothing soggy or stale in this feast

Yes, that whole thing is just sweets. Set up on a slowly rotating table. Talk about going the extra mile!
8. And of course, the cake is everything
This thing has been the subject of every fantasy I’ve had all week. Made extra personal by decorating it to be the same colour as the bridesmaids dress.
I want to fall in love and get married just to hire these guys to cater my wedding.
