Here’s How To Get Back Home From The Lovin Music Awards Absolutely Hassle-Free
Everyone knows that the worst part of a night out is figuring out transport arrangements to and from your desired destination (not to mention parking woes), and that’s why we’ve come up with a pre-emptive solution for your problems.
Our official transport partner for the Lovin Music Awards, Malta Public Transport, is pulling out all the (bus) stops to make sure everyone can get home from the LMAs totally hassle-free.
The Lovin Music Awards are taking place on the 19th October over at WH21 in Paola, and they’re bound to be a night of great music, spectacular acts, and loads and loads of dancing. So the last thing you’re going to want to do is worry about how you’re going to get there, where you’re going to park and how you’re going to get back home.
MPT has made some special arrangements for the night that will make getting to and from our amazing venue a whole lot easier.
Here’s all you need to know ahead of the big day…
1. There’ll be a shuttle bus from the Paola centre to WH21
Between 7:30pm and 9:30pm, MPT will be providing a free shuttle bus service from the bus stop Pjazza to right outside our venue. So if you catch any of the buses stopping at this bus stop, get a lift there or find parking in the vicinity, you can get on one of the shuttle buses for a quick ride over to WH21.
2. There will also be a special service ready to take people home at the end of the show, and once the after-party is over
The LMAs are all about partying and dancing to your favourite songs, and that’s why we want you to save your energy for the night and to not worry about other things like ‘how the hell am I going to get back home?!’
Malta Public Transport will be offering rides from right at the venue straight to your locality. For one night only, MPT will be offering extra routes from the venue to accommodate your travel arrangements, to make sure you end up getting home safe and sound.
3. The awards show and concert will be over by 12:30am, and we’ll keep the party going with an epic after-party until 4am
And at 12:30am and 4am, MPT will have transport waiting outside WH21 to take you home. So all you need to think about is how you and your friends are going to get there, and MPT will take you home at the end of the night.
It’s good to go green every once in a while, too
Making use of public transport is legitimately one of the easiest ways we can reduce our carbon footprint. We Maltese love to drive around when we’re able to, but think how better off we all would be if for once we weren’t behind the wheel. It’s a social event, catching the bus in Malta – make friends, save the environment and reduce those gosh-darned emissions!
4. If you want to make use of the transport at the end of the night, all you have to do is fill out this form
That way, MPT will know exactly where everyone needs to go once the awards are over and organise the routes especially for you. Guests will be dropped off at the bus stop closest to their ideal drop-off point. Applications will close on Monday 14th October.
