Mvintage proudly announces the first nominee for the Woman of the Year Award 2025 – Francesca Falzon, a young activist whose life is defined by purpose, courage and a tireless will to uplift others.
Now in its fourth edition, Woman of the Year celebrates the resilience and strength of Maltese women who lead, inspire and leave a lasting impact on their communities. Francesca embodies those values completely.
Living with cystic fibrosis, Francesca has never allowed the condition to define or limit her. In fact, she’s used her voice and visibility to advocate for others with chronic illnesses – breaking stigma, encouraging research and proving that strength can exist alongside struggle.
In April 2025, she completed the London Marathon, raising over £7,700 for cystic fibrosis research. This incredible physical and emotional achievement showed not only her resilience but her commitment to transforming her personal battles into collective wins.
Francesca’s impact goes beyond health advocacy. She’s also a devoted animal rescuer, caring for stray cats, organising community support and raising awareness for animal rights. Her compassion, consistency and advocacy have earned her respect and admiration across Malta.
Francesca Falzon’s nomination recognises a woman who leads by example – with grit, empathy and quiet strength. Her journey is not about perfection, but about purpose.
