Nominations Now Open For FreeHour Youth Awards 2024
Malta’s younger generation is brimming with talent and creativity now more than ever before – and this talent deserves proper recognition. That’s where FreeHour, Malta’s largest platform for students & youths, is coming in and providing a stage to recognise young people’s achievements on a national level across 13 categories.
The FreeHour Youth Awards has quickly become one of Malta’s most highly anticipated events of the year for students & youths, honouring incredible achievements of young people in Malta aged 13 to 25 in various fields.
How will it work?
1. Nominations: Recognising Impactful Youth
Have you encountered a young individual whose contributions deserve appreciation? Or perhaps you’re the one leaving a mark in your field or community? Nominate anyone aged 13-25 making an impact in Malta for the FreeHour Youth Awards and help get their remarkable efforts recognised.
2. Voting: Empowering the Public Voice
Once all the nominations have been received, FreeHour will filter through the submissions to lock in 4 finalists in each category. Next, there will be a public vote, where you can cast your own votes to help determine the winners. These votes hold a 70% weight in the selection process. A panel of expert judges will contribute too, with their votes holding the remaining 30% weight.
3. Finalists: A Celebration of Achievement
All this culminates in the grand event, where finalists for each award gather in anticipation to see who will be crowned as the winner in every category. Winners will take home a custom-made trophy, benefitting from major public recognition for their efforts & all they have achieved.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the FreeHour Youth Awards hold profound significance. They serve as a source of inspiration, motivating Malta’s youth to pursue their passions and make lasting contributions to society.
