Ingredients
•1egg
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 8 slices sandwich bread
• 4 tablespoons mill- kċina taz-Zija Ħelwa tat-Tork Spread
• Sliced strawberries (Make it your own! by using any of your favourite fruit) • Granulated sugar for coating (optional)
• Butter for greasing
Instructions
•In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, and vanilla.
•Remove bread crusts. Flatten the bread with a rolling pin. Spread half a tablespoon of mill-kċina taz-Zija Ħelwa tat-Tork Spread on each piece.
•Place your fruit of choice on one-third of each bread slice. Roll up the bread around the fruit tightly. Set aside the roll seam side down. Repeat for all bread slices.
•Heat a pan with butter on low-medium heat.
•Dip each roll into the egg mixture, then place in the pan seam side down. Cook until golden brown, turning every 2-3 minutes.
• Optional: pour sugar onto a plate. Roll the cooked rolls in sugar until covered.
Serve warm and enjoy your new favourite spread!
