FENDI Has Just Landed In Malta And We Tried On Some Killer Looks At This Local Luxury Fashion Store

Trendsetters, fashionistas and fashion fiends from all over the islands, listen up!

We were recently invited to visit Sarto’s luxury fashion boutique in St Julian’s and we felt like a kid at a candy store. Why were we so keen on checking them out?

(A) the introduction of two huge fashion (power) houses for the first time in Malta, and (B) to see if the experience we’ve always heard about actually lives up to the hype.

Yep both FENDI and Pucci’s latest collections are now available in Malta!

We say this with no exaggeration; shopping at Sarto is not just about browsing and buying, it’s a full blown experience. In fact, even the shopping-hating males wouldn’t mind spending hours there.

Sarto believes that fashion is for everyone, and whether or not you plan to spend the afternoon shopping – a simple visit to the store is in itself a sublime experience. It makes no difference whether you’re a style seeking fashion lover or just someone who enjoys the nicer things in life, Sarto’s super friendly crew will introduce you to the latest wearable art from the world’s major runways… over a coffee or something stronger.

Everyone’s an ‘A-Lister’ at Sarto

A glass of champagne will be offered to you to make the fitting room session an enjoyable one. So even if something doesn’t fit perfectly right, who cares when you’re sipping on bubbly?

Their visual merchandising, along with their sleek interior design, rivals the luxe stores on NYC’s Fifth Avenue.

If that shopping window alone isn’t enough to make your jaw drop, their downstairs area is literally the dream wardrobe you never had.

The latest FENDI Collection has landed in their store… and this one’s even more special

Fendi joins the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Moncler, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Saint Laurent, Ermengildo Zegna, Jimmy Choo

Karl Lagerfeld was the creative director of FENDI until he passed away, and his final Summer Collection can now be seen in Sarto. We repeat, FENDI. In. Malta.

The latest designs involve classy monochrome short-sleeved dresses in powdery pink and black. Obviously, dresses and accessories with their historic double FF logo can also be found.

This piece is the definition of nonchalant elegance.

It oozes sophistication and it’s great for a date night. The bum bag is a super accessory, contemporary and versatile doubling as a belt and a side bag for day or night.

This look perfects the sporty or casual look, and everyone needs a basic with a bang like this.

Pair it with shorts and sandals or jeans and heels for an added flair.

And then we went downstairs to be introduced to a giant closet-like room and…

We also laid eyes on Emilio Pucci’s Summer collection

Pucci is known for use of colours that pop, and this collection is no exception.

Summery dresses using brights of yellows, reds, greens and light blues are aplenty. You won’t miss out on their signature printed items that they’re known and loved for either.

Sandie gushed about this particular blue dress which resembles what people would wear to the star-studded Studio 54 nightclub from the sixties.

It’s perfect for a summer wedding, a Sex And The City-like brunch or a garden party.

This dress sports the designer’s groovy patterns made famous in the 60s.

It would make any woman feel like a glamour puss fit with bright colours, tasseled sleeves, and intricate detailing.

BONUS: Dolce & Gabbana

OK, so Sarto have always stocked Dolce & Gabbana, but my God the collection they have right now is on point (sorry, we couldn’t leave it out).

We just had to make our girl Sandie try it on (not that she’d say no). Who wouldn’t wanted a garden on premium fabric…

Sandie felt like an absolute princess in this gorgeous piece. The iconic Dolce & Gabbana florals are feminine yet fierce injecting an air of Sicilian soul into anyone who dons the dress. The cut is a dream, laying perfectly on your waist, highlighting the female form and accentuating all that deserves to be accentuated.

Plus they let Sandie wear a tiara, and let’s just say the girl was over the moon!

You’ll find new silhouettes, new shapes, new prints and new fabrics with asymmetrical pieces perfect for mixing and matching.

The accessory offering includes patent high heel sandals, beaded purses, printed shoppers and carry-alls.

What’s next?

Sarto has reached icon status and captured the public’s imagination, time and time again. Who can forget; the 2018 Summer of Love campaign featuring David Camenzuli and Anja Zvicker and the 2017 Sarto Life campaign with international model and Dolce and Gabbana regular, Misa Patinszki, which also featured on Lovin Malta. We can’t wait to see wait to see what else is in store for 2019.
