This Free Maltese Festival Will Keep Your Kids Entertained During October

Summer has come and gone and our days of using the beach as a tool to keep our kids happy are seriously numbered (read: over). But Maltese parents needn’t hang their Spritzes up in defeat yet. There’s a new – month-long – activity that is set to keep their kids the busiest and happiest they’ve been all year long.

That’s right, October is about to become parents’ favourite month!

October Ahoy!

This is how the magic works guys – for the whole month of October, each Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon will host a super fun-packed event at the Valletta Waterfront. October Ahoy! will include a mix of music, giveaways and fun educational games for all! In short – a free solution to your child-activity problems.

Whether it’s a life-size battle ship, mini boat races, or a game of ring toss that’ll keep your little one occupied – this event will have you more than covered. Kids can also enjoy free activities such as balloon modelling, face painting, crafts, games, colouring-ins, meet & greets with all-time favourite characters, puppet shows, bouncy castles and more. #Hallelujah

What about the adults?

Okay parents, you can stop feeling left out right about now. This event totally caters for the more mature audience as well. October’s balmy weather is perfect for a stroll along the promenade by the water’s edge, plus Valletta Waterfront’s many restaurants and bars provide a variety of different cuisines (and wine) to satisfy your taste buds.

Also can you think of a more amazing setting than the tastefully refurbished, historical stores, originally constructed by Grand Master Pinto in 1752? No, we didn’t think so.

What about Halloween?

If you can believe it – this has been covered as well. Spooky maritime fun is expected during the last weekend of October in time for Halloween. Your little ones will have the opportunity for trick and treating amidst the spooky décor and roaming children’s animation. #TwoBirdsOneStone
