Carnival comes but once a year. Thousands of Maltese and Gozitan people flock to the streets of Nadur for a weekend of crazy, inebriated, costumed celebrations. There’s booze, music, lots of neon make-up, and hours and hours of partying. Maybe that ‘once a year’ thing is actually a health & safety measure…
If you’re heading to Gozo this year, then you need to upgrade your experience by making sure you attend G7’s Holy Trinity of events. And you won’t even have to spend hours arguing with your friends on which one to choose between the three – they’re all happening at different times!
Friday 24th February 2017
RIO Carnival is the main event. It happens year on year and has built a reputation as one of the best annual events since 2010. Basically, if you’re not there, you’re not anywhere.
This year, G7 Events & Lime Light have teamed up to bring you a new and improved take on the yearly sell out event. They’re working to make it bigger, messier, and louder – basically more epic than it’s ever been before.
All you need to do is dress up in the craziest costume you can get your hands on, pop some mandatory glow sticks, have your UV paint handy, and start the party that will usher you into the weekend of mayhem like nothing else could.
