Malta Is About To Get Some ‘Good F*cking Design Advice’ This March
LOFT Malta is set to host a lecture by Good Fucking Design Advice this March, and it looks like it’s going to be a great evening of hilariously embarrassing stories wrapped in some very sound advice.
Launched in 2010 as a joke on a whim, the Ohio-based duo of Brian Buirge and Jason Bacher quickly established themselves as a powerhouse in the international design and creative community.
GFDA are known to be very honest about absolutely everything. “At Good Fucking Design Advice, we have no idea what we’re fucking doing,” they explain. “We never have, and, if things go right, we never will. We exist to make you feel good about doing the same.”
Over the last seven years, Buirge and Bacher have sold shirts and prints all adorning their typical tongue-in-cheek mantras, and anything from their t-shirts to their stationery doesn’t take too long to sell out. The co-organizers have risen to what they hilariously describe as “C-List Internet Celebrity fame”, being featured and interviewed on various publications, from The New Yorker to Rolling Stone. Their infamous products also adorn the homes and offices of big names like Apple’s Chief Design Officer Jony Ive and Hollywood heartthrob Ashton Kutcher.
The talk will be going down at Naxxar’s LOFT on Wednesday 29th March. The evening will also include complimentary food and drinks courtesy of Loft Café’s One80, because good fucking design advice wouldn’t be the same without some good fu… well, some pretty tasty refreshments.
