Gypsy Giants Gogol Bordello Are Coming To Malta, And Here’s How You Can Win Free Tickets
Globetrotting, multi-million record-selling Gogol Bordello are coming to Malta to see off July in their signature punk-folk manner, and we’re just not ready.
One of the main reasons behind millions of people’s fascination with dressing up as a mix between a gypsy and a pirate, the punk-dub-accordion-violin-saxophone-rock Manhattan concoction will be hitting the islands with a dose of colour and theatre that we’ve never seen before.
Tickets cost €25 and can be bought from right here… but we’re giving away free bundles!
That’s right; anyone who leaves a comments tagging two people they’d love to take to the Gogol Bordello gig will win tickets for all three!
The Manhattan-based band has been consistently touring ever since their inception back in 1999, and are widely known to have some of the most theatrical live shows out there.
With everything from film appearances to a Euro 2012 campaign song under their belt, the Gogol gypsy-punks have nine hit albums to belt out at audiences on the 30th of July at Aria Complex.
Beloved alternative locals Brodu will be opening for the incoming bordello.
Two albums in, Brodu are one of the most important Maltese bands out there. After debuting back in 2012, the five-piece shot to fame with the hauntingly beautiful Iċ-Ċimiterju.
The Maltese band’s painfully genuine and heartwarming lyrics will definitely go down a treat before Gogol’s fun riot, especially if the lads are up for cracking a light-hearted joke or two in between songs (which they always are).
