WIN: Malta’s Very Own Mvintage Finally Opens A Flagship Store In Valletta
Everyone loves beautiful pieces of jewellery, and with the holiday season just round the corner, expect to see some Mvintage instant favourites making their way to the hands of thousands of Maltese people.
This Maltese born and bred jewellery brand writes a new chapter in its story of success by opening a flagship store in Valletta and launching a larger jewellery kiosk at The Point.
But how did a simple dream become such a successful journey?
Krystle Penza is the answer to this question.
She defines herself as “a mother, a daughter, a wife, an entrepreneur, an artist, a playful girl re-creating vintage jewellery pieces from my mum’s collection,” creating wearable pieces of jewellery with the aim of empowering all those involved in the process of their creation. And how are the two interlinked? It all has to do with Mvintage’s core values; Women, Family, Fashion.
Women
For all of her life, Krystle has been surrounded by empowering women, and so modelled her store to be able to give women the power and drive to accomplish everything that they desire.
“I use my designs as a means of telling a story and, in doing, so aspire to give women the ability to express themselves and exude confidence.”
The Mvintage team is made up entirely of women, and its products are made with Maltese women particularly in mind.
The female empowerment that is central to this newly-established franchise is overwhelming, and Mvintage prides itself on philanthropic work devoted to the support of women from all walks of life and situations.
Family
Krystle’s daughter was the motivator for opening her store, and her mother was her muse, and she dedicates her store’s success to them. But the concept of family extends to the entire Mvintage team.
Everyone who forms part of Mvintage is part of a big family, as Mvintage is a community built by women for women.
This is a concept we can totally get behind. Amen, sister.
Fashion
Of course, Mvintage is fashion-focused and a serious trendsetter throughout the Maltese Islands. The brand’s sleek and dainty designs are inspired by the colourful history and rich traditions of the Maltese Islands.
Our country’s unique architecture, bursting colours and hues are Krystle’s muse for her ornate designs and stone selection. The bold yet sophisticated statements that each piece of her jewellery reinstates really help bring out the fearless yet humble attitude of the Maltese.
Mvintage is opening its flagship store on 15 November and will be located at 146, St. Lucia Street, Valletta, while a new and even larger jewellery kiosk will open on Level 0 at The Point.
