7 Stylish Snaps From Last Weekend’s Iconic Fashion Launch Party In Valletta

In this increasingly technological world, the power of social media is growing day by day. And unfortunately, that means that the power of online criticism has also been growing. Luckily for us and all Maltese fashionistas, we’ve just been given a stylish solution.
Diesel has taken online criticism and turned it into something positive with their launch of Ha?te Couture; a unique collection designed to disempower haters. They took some of the hate that they’ve recieved as a brand, such as ‘”Diesel is dead”, and turned it into a unique clothing item. They also worked with celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and Bella Thorne to create unique pieces based on their experience with online hate.

Ha?te Couture landed in Malta last weekend, with an exclusive and iconic party at the Diesel store in Valletta, in collaboration with local party organisers Jam & Juice who took care of the night’s image and sound. Beloved local designer Marco from Parascandalo was on location customising pieces for guests on the night, with some familiar faces getting the skandlu-treatment.
We’ve picked out seven of the most iconic shots from the launch that are sure to give you equal doses of FOMO and fashion-inspo.
1. DJ Steve and DJ MATTE hit the decks to get the party going
Fashion got groovy thanks to Steve as he spun some tunes for the perfect backdrop to the fashionable evening.

2. Leather jackets for days

3. Statements to be proud of
The Ha?te Couture collection took insults and turned them into badges of pride!

4. Such a scandal!

5. Emma Muscat was there
Yep, our very own international starlet and her boyfriend Biondo popped by, and Emma even got her own clothes personalised.

6. There was wine too!
Guests gathered outside for a drink and a chat, and we all know how much better everything gets at wine o’clock.

7. People just had a genuinely good time
Socialites, influencers and fashionistas alike gathered for some of the coolest snaps and most fashion-forward friendship circles.

You’re still in time to get your own piece customised…
Customisation of the Ha?te Couture line is still happening at the Valletta Diesel store until stocks last, so head on down there to get your hands on a one-of-a-kind personalised item!
