Steve Rothery Is Bringing 45 Years Of Marillion Magic To Malta
Steve Rothery – known for his work as guitarist of Marillion – will be playing live in Malta for the first time ever.
The Steve Rothery Band will be playing 2 nights at Teatru Salesjan in Sliema over 2 nights – 4th and 5th October.
Each night will feature a different setlist and will cover 45 years of Marillion history with a special emphasis on the Misplaced Childhood and Clutching At Straws years. Expect to also hear tracks from Script and Fugazi as well as some pieces from the Steve Hogarth years.
Born in Yorkshire, England, Rothery is the original guitarist and longest continuous member of Marillion and has described his guitar style as a mix of Andrew Latimer (Camel), Steve Hackett, David Gilmour and Joni Mitchell.
Accompanying Steve Rothery will be Martin Jakubski (StillMarillion), Dave Foster (Mr. So & So) on guitar, Leon Parr (Leeds College of Music) on drums, Yatim Halimi (Panic Room) on bass and Roccardo Romano (Ranestrane) on Keyboards.
