Strawberry Infused Beef, Truffle Veal Croquettes And Pork Cheek Raviolacci – Three Insane Dishes At This Popular Paceville Restaurant

Article Featured Image

In 2019, Malta got some seriously stunning restaurants – but there’s one place that we just can’t resist going back to.

Miro’s ultra-modern concept as well as its creative-as-hell dishes (that are pretty to look at too) make for a truly irresistible eatery.

The people behind the Paceville favourite are known for throwing some choice unexpected ingredients together that genuinely work, creating special flavour combinations the likes of which Malta has never seen.

To top things off, their menu is actually 30% vegetarian, meaning no one will be left out from the flavour powerhouse that Miro truly is.

Now, Miro have a brand new menu, and just writing about it is enough to make our mouths water

Starters include delights such as baby squid filled with an anchovy & prawn ragout and a pea & tomato tartare with garlic foam. Riso Venere on a pea puree, saffron cream drops & fried aubergine and truffle veal croquettes made with porcini mushrooms, veal jus and pecorino fondue.

Fancy just doesn’t begin to describe it!

And when it comes to the mains, Miro really do know how to take things up yet another notch

Strawberry-infused beef fillet medallions with dried elderflower and lemon-whipped cream. Sous vide lamb rump tagliata with buttered herbs, marinated artichoke hearts and liquorice-infused jus are just some of the mains on offer.

Yes, we’ll say that again. Strawberry. Infused. Beef.

You just won’t find these original takes on classic dishes anywhere else on the island.

Miro also have an elegant Josper grill that ensures meat cuts such as Dutch milk-fed veal cutlets and grain-fed beef rib eye are cooked to an optimal result.

Meat lovers rejoice!
