The Pre-Loved Trend Is Finding Its Way To Malta With This Online Store
Pre-loved clothing is not a new concept and it is slowly emerging in Malta. Over the past couple of years this trend has started to gain popularity in the local market.
Bettiwears is Malta’s first online pre-loved fashion store, where the local community can buy good quality fashion items at more affordable prices.

The fashion industry, makes up roughly 10% of humanity’s carbon emissions, it dries up water sources, and pollutes rivers, streams, oceans and forests. In 2018, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, estimated that 85% of all textiles go to the dump each year.
Bettiwears is raising awareness within the local community to move towards thinking sustainably and longer-term, making wiser purchase decisions and start caring for our planet.
Times are changing
Up until recently, people felt ashamed to buy pre-loved items, but thankfully that mentality has evolved. Nowadays people have understood that owning pre-loved items is admirable, righteous and ethical as we all strive towards sustainability and longevity for our natural environment.
Bettiwears stocks a variety of fashion items from clothes to shoes, bags and accessories ranging from popular mass market brands (fast fashion and high street), premium brands, accessible luxury to supremer luxury.
After only a short time in operation, the company was a finalist at the Malta Business Awards in the Start-up business of the year category.
Bettiwears is constantly striving to reach a wider audience, with the recent launch of the premium brands and accessible luxury.
