Since Uber arrived here last summer, with their globally-renowned app used by 131 million people in 10,500 cities and 72 countries around the world, they’ve been keen to use their international know-how to help people get around simply, reliably and safely.

Uber & GO, Malta’s most trusted communications provider, are both on a mission to help people remain connected and mobile. Throughout 2023 Uber is offering two 50% discounted rides to GO customers on the Play or Freedom plans.

“We hope to incentivise people to stay safe and use Uber – especially after a night out on the town,” said a spokesperson for Uber.

With a promo code sent to them via SMS at the beginning of each month, Go Play plan customers who are 27 or younger have enjoyed two rides per month at 50% discount (up to €12 discount per ride or €24 per month).

No wonder this demographic is called the ‘zoomers’!

And if you aren’t a Go customer, you needn’t worry that you’re being left out in the cold.

To offer increased mobility that’s accessible to everyone, Uber have recently introduced a special ‘saver’ scheme to make Uber the most affordable way for you to ride your chosen route by offering cheaper rates when the roads, the app and our friendly Uber drivers are not too busy.

You can take advantage of this saver scheme automatically – the reduced fares simply appear as a choice in your app. 

For Go users, to redeem your promo code just follow these easy steps:

• Open your Uber app or download from the App Store or Google Play Store. 
• Create or login to your Uber account.
• Select the Account tab at the bottom of the screen and then select Wallet.
• Scroll down to Promotions and select Add promo code.
• Insert the promo code and select add.
