Selecting events and participants is a strategic process for the Foundation, driven by market research and consultations within its Board. This meticulous planning ensures participation in events with the highest potential for attracting investment.

The Foundation’s collaborative approach, leveraging strong connections with local estate agencies, property developers, and legal and financial service providers, ensures a diverse and effective representation at such international gatherings.

The MIPIM 2024 delegation comprised 26 professionals, including property developers, estate agencies, and consultants, showcasing major projects like The Verdala Terraces and Shoreline, alongside broader investment opportunities.

Collaboration with entities such as the MTA and Malta Enterprise offered a comprehensive insight into the Maltese market, further solidifying the delegation’s impact.

Highlighting the political significance of such events, Junior Minister for Public Works, Hon. Omar Farrugia MP participated, contributing to discussions on housing affordability—a topic of global relevance exacerbated by the current energy and cost of living crisis. His involvement underscored the multifaceted benefits of participating in MIPIM, beyond mere networking.

The tangible outcomes of these efforts are evident in the keen interest from investors, especially in high-value properties. While initial discussions at MIPIM lay a foundation, the sustained effort in fostering these relationships is critical.

The Foundation’s participation not only underscores the potential of Malta’s real estate sector but also solidifies its position as a key player in the global arena, capable of attracting multi-million Euro investments.
