Lovin Malta got to spend a day at the beautiful Sicilia Outlet Village after its expansion of 30 new stores and we were not disappointed. From insane discounts to delicious ice-cream and gorgeous architecture, the new extension was everything we expected and more.

We got to check out some amazing new shops like Dolce & Gabbanna, Gucci, Moschino, and many many more while also enjoying delicious cafes, restaurants, and gelaterias that kept us refreshed throughout the hot, sunny day.

The village’s success is underscored by this expansion, making it the largest Outlet Village in Central-Southern Italy, with an additional 6,000 square meters and 30 new stores, bringing the total to 36,000 square meters of commercial space and a comprehensive offer of 170 stores featuring the most prestigious national and international brands.

A €35 million investment was made to reinforce Sicilia Outlet Village as a hub for quality shopping and an important economic engine for the Sicilian region, generating employment for over 1,500 people, both directly and indirectly.

Meanwhile, the grand opening of this extension saw over 40,000 people filling the shopping streets to join in on all the extraordinary events, like fireworks, aerobatic performances and 50 itinerant shows.

One spectacular event was the pyrotechnic show entitled Elementi by Vaccalluzzo. It created a magical atmosphere that filled the Village boulevards, celebrating this festive and extraordinary shopping weekend with the Summer Black Days, the summer version of the more famous Black Weekend.

At the same time, shoppers got to enjoy some incredible discounts.

If you love luxury shopping at an affordable price, Sicilia Outlet Village is definitely the place for you. It boasts renowned brands like Alberta Ferretti, Armani, Blumarine, Boss, Coach, Dolce&Gabbana, Ermanno Scervino, Fay, Furla, Gucci, Hogan, Michael Kors, Moschino, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tod’s, and many more.

The opening was last week, but that doesn’t mean the special events are over. Between the 8th and 16th June, there will be additional discounts of up to 30% off outlet prices.

Meanwhile, on 16th June there’s a casting for Zecchino d’Oro 2025, the song festival for children. Selected young soloists may have the chance to perform on Rai Uno.

Finally, on 6th July, the highly anticipated Summer Sale begins, so if you haven’t booked your flights to Catania yet, consider this your sign.
