71% of the world is made up of water and humans are 75% water as well. It’s no secret that water is the secret behind helping every kind of living thing thrive, so why do we waste so much of it?
Water Be The Change is helping empower every single citizen to do their part when it comes to water conservation.
To see how much Maltese students and lecturers know about water conservation on our island and in fact in their home, Water Be The Change has teamed up with Lovin Malta to head to the University of Malta for answers.
Check out what University students and lecturers had to say about how we can conserve water and what they do in their everyday lives to preserve it.

Malta has a semi-arid climate and our long and dry summers mean that our natural water resources are limited. Pair Malta’s lack of water with the growing population and you’ll soon see that for us it’s a constant challenge to have enough water to maintain Malta.
We don’t have an infinite amount of water and the groundwater supply we have is also finite, so finding ways to reuse our wastewater and knowing how to identify and make proper use of black and grey water is crucial.
Looking at how we can save water when washing our cars, watering our plants, and making our homes more water efficient – Water Be The Change is helping everyone get to grips with how much water they waste, how we can meet our daily water needs more efficiently and how the future can be different.
