Here’s a bit about the inspiring team behind Prime.

Presently, this company boasts the title of ‘Malta’s largest meat processor’, and with good reason. Whilst that’s all well and good, making it to the top was no walk in the park…

Back in 2003, Prime set out to execute a full-on physical upgrade of its infrastructure. This project saw both the company’s production facilities and its production processes get kicked up a notch.

In lieu of this, Prime went on to enlarge its premises as well as upgrade its finishes, therein abiding by the levels of hygiene required to meet EU standards.

And whilst this all went down in 2003, the company’s efforts to remain on top of the game never subside.

Prime is continuously investing in the most modern equipment to produce its well-loved local products. These range from cooked ham, gammons, and arrosto, all the way to mortadella, bacon, sausages and burgers.

So whatever the situation, rest assured that Prime’s premium products will kick your dish up a notch.

Now, getting your hands on some of Prime’s products is super easy – but tonnes of hard work goes into these delectable items before they’re placed on supermarket shelves.

Strict quality control measures are followed throughout the production process; from the second the raw materials are received up until the second the product is finalised. The products are also subject to laboratory analysis at an independent facility to ensure maximum quality.

If a turkey isn’t your thing, rest assured that Prime offers a huge range of Christmas products at all of its meat shops; we’re talking stuffed Pork Collar with almonds and prune, stuffed Capon with apricot and walnuts, stuffed Turkey breast with cranberries and pistachios.

Not to mention their exclusive cuts, providing  USDA Prime black Angus, USA wagyu steaks, and Dry-aged meat part from the vast variety of Christmas honey glazed gammons, sausages, and roasts all available at Prime meat shops.

Presently, Prime has a chain of twelve meat shops; its original store in Mgieret Road, Marsa, another stand-alone shop is located in Zabbar next to the parish church, together with ten meat shop concessions at leading supermarkets

These include Valyou Supermarket Naxxar, Valyou Supermarket Mellieħa, Tower Supermarket Sliema, Trolees Supermarket Qawra, Chain Supermarket Żabbar, Chain Food Store Tigne, Chain Supermarket Fgura, Piscopo’s Cash & Carry St Paul’s Pay, Lasco Supermarket Żejtun, Prime Zabbar and Gala Supermarket Gżira.
