Pumping beats and long days spent dancing the sun away have become synonymous with Maltese summers, especially considering the long list of music festivals that have made it to our shore over the years. This year, a new mega event is coming to Ta’ Qali… and it’s bringing with it an awesome giveaway!

DR Lektroluv, Dave Clarke, DJ Rush, The Areola Treat, Luke Slater, Manatapu, Vitalic… everyone is here!

The festival will also be making sure some of Malta’s finest acts take centre stage. But it’s not just heavyweights like Airport Impressions who will be making an appearance; upcoming local artists like Reactant will also feature, with the festival helping to promote the best the islands have to offer.

The spectacle will be closing with an explosive set by Marco Bailey at the iconic Liquid Club which will also see Moor opening the night.

Other highlights include a visual performance by world-renowned, former Tomorrowland artist Habs Arkam, and a Malta-first which will see Belgian drumming ensemble Kontrijk Drum collaborate with a number of Maltese percussionists for a massive synchronised medley performance of over 85 drummers!

To celebrate the two-day festival that’s all about the beating of the drums, DRUMFEST is giving away one of the limited edition drum kits being used in the Malta show!

Fully customised and shipped to the islands specifically for the two DRUMFEST shows on the 14th and 15th of June, 45 sets of Special Limited Edition Yamaha Kortrijk Drumt Full Drum Sets will be adding a pumping backdrop to the festival.

DrumsOnly supplied the brand new drums – which come in Black Glitter, Mellow Yellow and Hot Red – especially for the delegation of 45 drummers flying to Malta from Belgium. After the Malta performance, the shop will actually be selling the pristine drums, which are valued at €740, at a reduced price.
