Here are nine of our favourite dishes from Tosca’s delicious creations.
1. Roasted Camembert Cheese
A cheese-lover’s dream: this whole camembert is lovingly roasted and served with tomato relish, fig jam, and some micro greens. Order this to start your meal off in the right way.
2. White, Green Asparagus & Pan-seared Scallops
A fancy take on a seasonal classic, the pan-seared fresh scallops and mixed white and green asparagus are accompanied by in-house made orange comfit and marjoram crumbs.
3. Panciotti Scallops & Crabs
This delicate pasta dish is an innovative alternative to Malta’s traditional ricotta ravioli. Served with a creamy prawn bisque and silky dill butter, these pockets of deliciousness are sure to hit the spot if you’re looking for a little elevated comfort food!
The dish is completed with a touch of freshness in the form of air-dried tomatoes…I’ll take it!
4. Chicken Porchetta
Taking things to the next level, this unique chicken porchetta utilises the flavours of local Maltese sausage, parma ham and vegetable broth to create a magnificent final product.
5. Fresh Fish Of the Day
A range of locally sourced and freshly caught seasonal fish will give you a beautiful selection for your preferred choice, and served with buttered green vegetables.
6. Grain-Fed Fillet of Beef
This dish speaks for itself. Composed of simple ingredients, the star of the meal is the fillet itself, grain-fed and served beside rustic root vegetables, beef jus, and microgreens.
7. Sous Vide Local Pork Belly
Cooked precisely using the sous vide method, this locally-sourced pork belly is accompanied by a tart Granny Smith apple purée and rainbow carrots.
8. Strawberry Mousse Mille-feuille
Tosca’s dessert game is something special – if you aren’t going for the Deconstructed Snickers, you need to grab this very light and pretty mousse mille-feuille. Served with forest berries compote and a dainty macaroon.
9. Assorted Belgian Truffles
And if you want to end in style, you need to grab their assorted Belgian truffles, featuring a proper variety of flavours. Bask in the high-end tastes of ruby chocolate, whisky and dark chocolate, pistachio, orange and toffee, milk chocolate and coconut, served with a side of Baileys foam.
