11-Year-Old Maltese Dancer Accepted Into Prestigious English Ballet School
Young Maltese dancer Gig Baldacchino has recently been accepted at the prestigious Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham.
Gig has been dancing since he was three years old and has been practicing several disciplines like Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Spanish and Modern.
Last February, Gig attended the Metti Le Ali Al Talento Masterclasses in Cattolica with Seed Dance Studios where he was awarded various scholarships including a Direct Entry to a Final Audition for a full-time training programme at Elmhurst Ballet School Birmingham.

He recently received the much-awaited news that informs him of his status at the school and he made it. He shall be starting his journey in September and we can’t wait to see this star shine!
His mother and father took to Facebook with their sweet comments: “Words can’t express how proud we are of you, you have come so far… Yes, sacrifices shall be made as we shall be far apart from each other but your future awaits and it all starts this coming September!”
