Clouds Are Finally Coming, But What About That Heat? Here’s The Weather In Malta This Week
Santa Marija 2018 featured a surprise thunderstorm that had actually threatened feasts and festivals all around the island. This year, the beloved mid August holiday brought with it some strong winds that went as far as to postpone Malta’s festivities… but what about the week following that? Well, it’s aptly looking like a mixed bag is on its way to the islands.
Today was off to a different start as far as most of the previous weeks are concerned, thanks to a cloudy summer morning leading some of us to hope for a cooler week. And while the temperature isn’t going to hit the 40s anytime soon (halleluljah to that, brothers and sisters), we wouldn’t hold our breaths too much if we were you.
While clouds could very well feature all the way up to Wednesday, temperatures will still feel very warm, with highs of 30°C feeling more like 34°C right up to the midweek.
Just in time for August’s penultimate weekend, sunnier weather will give way to highs that feel like 35°C and 36°C on Thursday and Friday, with the evenings featuring a much cooler 23°C.
Northwesterly winds of Forces 3 and 4 should also arrive though, so here’s hoping for some cooler summer nights ahead of September’s imminent arrival.
