Crushed By Concrete: Bricks Slip From Gżira Crane And Destroy A Van Below It
A major accident was averted in Gżira this afternoon after a load of concrete bricks slipped from a tower crane.
The bricks landed straight onto a van below the crane, which is located by Triq l-Imsida and Triq il-Gżira, completely destroying it in the process. However, it could have been so much worse, and thankfully no one was injured in the accident.
