Diners Evacuated As Firefighters Tackle Fire In Valletta Waterfront Restaurant
Diners at the Valletta Waterfront had to be evacuated last night as the kitchen of Brown’s Restaurant caught fire.
Firefighters tackled the blaze for two hours, after responding to a call just before 10:30pm.
Triq il-Vittmi Furjaniżi, the road that houses the kitchen side of the restaurant was closed.
Diners reportedly heard a loud noise from the kitchen before the lights went out and staff asked patrons to evacuate.
The cause of fire is still unknown.
