Fresh Autumn Weather And Some Scattered Showers Set To Hit Malta This Weekend… But Here’s Why You Don’t Need To Worry

It’s safe to say that it’s that time of year where the weather changes quicker than Stella Cini changes wigs. One week it’s stormy, and the next Malta seems to be diving back into the Earth’s molten hot core.

This past week, however, Mother Nature has seemed to settle for a happy medium, with warm and sunny mornings moving into crisp and cool evenings. And the same scene seems to be in the making for this weekend.

According to the MIA forecast, temperatures will continue to rest within the mid 20°C range during the day with an average of 26°C before dipping into lows of 19°C at night. The sun will be a recurring feature, though it might be hiding behind some clouds every so often. Some isolated showers might also make a special guest appearance on Saturday, but don’t let that scare you off from the fabulous Lovin Music Awards night, because the new indoor venue of WH21 will ensure your hair and makeup both stay in tact.

The UV index seems to be staying the same throughout the weekend – a moderate 5 – and the mainly southbound winds will keep ping-ponging between Forces 3 and 4. That’s just enough to feel the breeze without having to worry about (to all my long-haired gals and guys out there) a side of hair with every outdoor meal.

So keep your t-shirts and shorts at hand for now, but make sure you make a couple of light jackets easily accessible as well. In the meantime, let’s enjoy what’s left of this summery atmosphere whilst eagerly anticipating the coming hot-cocoa-and-sweater weather.
