Molly’s Cafe, Mosta’s Mouthwatering Pancake Mecca, Has Permanently Closed Down
What had to be Mosta’s cutest cafe has officially closed its doors for the last time.
Molly’s Cafe, which opened at the edge of Mosta in 2014, quickly made a name for itself as a well-designed, homely place to get a healthy raw snack, some of the fluffiest pancakes around, and everything in between.
Now, Molly’s has announced its closure ahead of the team moving into a totally new area – recycled home decor – under the name Hobbyworld D.I.Y.
“We would like to announce that Molly’s cafe is now permanently closed,” the team said on their social media. “We would like to thank all those who have always supported us by visiting us at the cafe whilst enjoying our famous pancakes or taking part in our popular events. It was a lovely experience to open a cafe and a greater satisfaction that we had managed to put ourselves out there with our amazing fluffy American pancakes.”
“One door closes and another one opens, so please keep visiting us and supporting our new concept of up cycling furniture and recycled home decor, lots of original pieces of up cycled furniture available, original hand crafted home decor gifts and lots of workshops to learn how to make your own together with all the material needed to start this beautiful hobby and more,” the post finished. “Stay tuned on this page for more updates and please always support small family businesses.”
Molly’s was beloved for its friendly, home-cooked atmosphere, paired with comfort foods that made you feel warm inside
Customers were sad to see the fan favourite close down, but wished the team well on their new and respectable venture
You can keep up with the team’s new project at the same location in Constitution Street, Mosta.
