Santa Is Coming To This Maltese Supermarket To Spread Some Christmas Cheer For A Great Cause

Article Featured Image

It’s semi-cold but the sun’s out, beaches are full of people walking by the sea and not swimming in it, and we’re all robed in tees and coats. It’s Christmas in Malta, which always makes for a very interesting time of year.

But that doesn’t stop us from keeping up with the celebrations and the family ikliet. No matter how many times we’ve seen it, we still love a rosy cheeked Santa Klaws giving out treats and photo sessions for all the little ones. If there is one thing we remember loving about the festive season it’s meeting THE Santa, and letting him know what we wish for this Christmas.

Smart supermarket is the place for food discounts… and photo ops with Santa!

Every year, Father Christmas visits Smart supermarket throughout the month of December. You won’t find him munching on mince pies, but spreading some Christmas joy to all those who enter.

This year, Smart got smart and decided to switch it up.

For a donation starting at €2, your photo with Santa will be printed and your donation will be given to Puttinu Cares.

As you shop for the discounted dranks that are going to be getting you through the family dinners and the refrigerated finger foods that you bought at the eleventh hour because, once again, you didn’t prepare the homemade meal you promised your sister-in-law that you would, Santa will be cruisin’ around the store in his mini-sleigh.

This year Santa will be mobile…

What?

Yup, you heard that right.

Santa will be on the move this year at Smart Supermarket, so he’ll be coming to you!

How?

The old boy will be making the rounds in store on his mobile scooter, decked out in festive decor as he glides down the aisles ensuring he blesses everyone with Christmas spirit and spreads well wishes all round.

Because Father Christmas is not just for kiddies.

Santa will be at the store every day from today until Christmas Eve.

Whether you’re there to meet him or to have a chat with his elves regarding your Christmas woes, you can get the chance to make your contribution to Puttinu cares and receive a gift from the store for when you spend over €100.
