As previously forecasted, a storm has now formulated between Malta and Sicily, and rain and thunder are expected throughout today and tomorrow.

It has already been reported to be raining heavily in Sicily, and the rain is likely to hit Malta in the next hours until the afternoon, from around 9am until 11am.

It-Temp Madwarna shared how an increase in pressure around the Maltese islands has been noted for this week, with instability originating from Sicily and Tunisia.

However, halfway through the week, the weather is expected to shift to sunnier days, with the maximum temperature expected to be 26 degrees and the minimum at 20 degrees.

The sea temperature will also decrease by another degree, however, it is still currently two degrees more than the usual temperature in mid-October.
