Support Local Businesses, Don’t Steal From Them: Earnings From Beer Fest Stolen From Food Truck Last Night

Strü, a local food truck, had money stolen from its premise at the Farson’s Beer Fest last night.

The Beer Fest is meant to be a place of good food, beer, and music. Unfortunately, this was not the case last night for local stroopwafel extraordinaires ‘Strü’ who had a total sum of 250 euros stolen from their stand.

The company took to Facebook to express their disappointment, noting that they ‘worked extremely long and hard to be involved in this festival and in business in general’.

Strü is a new local startup serving delicious desserts such as stroopwafels and cheesecakes on a stick. As such, for a new company, a set back like this can be devastating.

“To have a hit like that in our sales feels like we got dragged back a little. We are a new business so everything counts right now”, Strü said when speaking to Lovin Malta.

Despite their setback, Strü took the moral high ground and forgave the thief, leaving justice to be served by karma’s doing.

Thankfully there is one more night of The Beer Fest left which means you can help Strü by checking them out tonight and trying one of their amazing desserts!

Support your local businesses… don’t steal from them!
