13-Year Old Cyclist Injured In Malta’s Latest Traffic Accident

A 13-year old cyclist has become Malta’s latest traffic accident victim after getting grievously injured whilst riding his bike in Luqa last night. 

In a police statement released today, the police said the boy was injured after he collided with a Toyota Vitz which was being driven by a 25-year old woman from Zabbar.

The cyclist was given first aid on-site by a medical team, before being transported to Mater Dei where his injuries were certified as grievous. 

Police investigations into the accident are currently underway.
